Did you know that the majority of Haitians live on less than $1.00 (USD) a day and 56% live in extreme poverty? This affects the educational system negatively. 90% of schools are private institutions and most parents can't afford to send their children. In the town of Anse-a-Pitres, there are no vocational schools and 65% out of 8,000 inhabitants are illiterate. How can you help? It's simple: donate! A small contribution can make a big difference.

Bèl Ti Fi is a new program falling under APL designed for young women in Haiti and Dominican Republic. We seek to address the very heart of issues confronting girls – increasing confidence in their own voice and convictions, developing life-skills, and improving the ability to identify paths and resources within their communities that can contribute to positive change and break cycles for a lifetime.
Your donations will contribute to the purchase of workshop materials.
The city of Anse-a-Pitres, Haiti, does not have a library. One is extremely needed by the students and community in general. We've been granted the land by the city's authorities on which to build this library, but now we need to raise the money to make it possible. YOU can HELP! By donating as little as a dollar or as much as a hundred; every penny counts! --All monetary donations will go towards purchasing construction materials.--
